Through the first six games of the tournament, Maddinson has scored 203 runs at an average of 40.60 and strike rate of 87.87.
During that span, he has hit 21 boundaries and five sixes.
Thursday’s victory against Western Australia sees NSW finish the pools in second place, with four wins and two losses, and only behind Queensland.
NSW will now play Victoria in the semi-final at Drummoyne Oval from 2.30pm Friday.
The winner will play Queensland in Sunday’s final at North Sydney Oval.
