Some Shoalhaven Bicycle User Group rides for this week include:

Thursday: midweek mountain bike ride – Kangaroo Valley to Beehive Point via Jack’s Corner, 38 km return / Moderate pace / Medium difficulty / Significant hills / Sealed and unsealed roads / Fire trails /Bush tracks / Bring water snacks, suncream, insect repellant. Bring swimmers if hot. Lunch after ride at Kangaroo Valley. The ride will commence at 8.30am at Kangaroo Valley showground. Contact Rod 0428211487.

Please note that due to the cancellation of all train services on Sunday October 23 the Thirroul to Kiama ride has been changed to the around Illawarra Lake ride. See details below.

Sunday: Lake Illawarra ride, 42km return / Moderate pace / Some traffic / Medium difficulty / Uses off road cycle paths. Starts at 9.30am from Boonerah Point reserve, Mt. Warrigal. Coming from the south turn left at Reddall Parade, the last street before Windang bridge, and travel 2.7km to Boonerah Point reserve. The ride is a circuit of Lake Illawarra.
