‘Learning to care for yourself after the death of a child of any age’ will be held in Kiama on Saturday, November 5 from 9am to 4pm.
There will be keynote speakers and workshops including therapeutic drumming, craft for healing, gentle yoga, relaxation techniques, a talk on suicide and a walking group for men. Participants will have a choice of two workshops on the day.
It will be run by the Compassionate Friends and is open to any bereaved family.
The event will be held at the Anglican Church Hall, 1 Terralong Street Kiama and is $25.
