Coming off the bench, the 22-year-old hit a field goal and managed two defensive rebounds during his 6.27 minutes on the court.
It was the only win for the Kings in the four-day event, with the side going down to Brisbane and Perth in their other matches.
Darcy’s mother, Carolyn, said they made sure they caught every minute of the action.
“We watched through a live stream on the NBL website so there was definitely a bit of high-fiving going on while he was playing,” she said.

“I know he’s had an absolute blast up there, which is great.”
Darcy joined the Sydney Kings in June as a development player, following a strong performance in a two-day rookie camp.
The Kings will play their first game of the NBL season on October 8 against Brisbane.
