Illawarra Shoalhaven Local Health District (ISLHD) will be hosting a Well Women’s pop-up information stall at Stockland Shopping Centre on Friday, September 30.
The event will give local women an opportunity to have a chat about their health and find out more about ISLHD health services.
Nowra Women’s Health Nurse, Maureen Cable and Youth Health Education Officer, Wendi Hobbs will be on hand at the stall between 11am and 2pm.
“We aim to support and enable women to be the coordinator of their own health and wellbeing. The Women’s Wellness Clinics are staffed by women, for women and provide free and confidential health services with a focus on early detection, illness prevention and health screening,” Ms Cable said.
“We also want to let women know how quick and easy it is to make an appointment to a local Well Women’s Clinic using the Illawarra Shoalhaven Access and Referral Centre (ARC),” she said.
For an appointment or referral to your local service, call the Illawarra Shoalhaven Access and Referral Centre (ARC) on 1300 792 755.
