Shoalhaven BUG assisted in one of the most successful Bike Week rides for many years. A large contingent of BUG members was on hand to assist and advise participants and act as ride leaders and tail end charlies for the ride from Huskisson to Plantation Point and return. Some 58 cyclists of all ages and walks of life took part in this very successful event.

Some Shoalhaven Bicycle User Group rides for this week include:
Thursday, September 29: Mountain Bike Ride from Sussex Inlet to Bendalong; 40km return, moderate pace, uses off-road cyclepaths, uses on-road cycleways, sealed and unsealed roads and tracks, undulating, three water crossings. Mountain bike required.
This week’s ride starts at 9am from the water reserve next to the Sussex Inlet RSL Club. Riding to Bendalong, via Swan Lake and the Walter Hood monument. Coffee break in Bendalong, then back to Sussex Inlet. Bring water, snacks, sunscreen. Contact: Rod 0428 211 487.
Sunday, October 2: There is no scheduled ride this Sunday because of the long weekend.
The following Sunday (9/10/16) join us for a ride from Berry to Broughton Vale and return. See next Wednesday’s Register for more details.
