The teenage boy was found bleeding and suffering multiple stab wounds when he stumbled up to an apartment block on Wilga Street in Fairfield last month.

A resident went to the boy's aid, dragging him inside his unit and waiting with him until paramedics arrived.

It is a believed the boy, who lives in the Fairfield area, was involved in a confrontation at the nearby train station and was chased to Wilga Street, a few hundred metres away.

The boy, who can't be identified, was initially rushed to hospital but has since been discharged and is recovering.

Police investigating the stabbing rolled out raids targeting three separate properties on Tuesday, uncovering guns and drugs.

Oliver Merza, an influential member of DLASTHR – an Assyrian street gang fuelling tit-for-tat violence in the greater Fairfield area recently – was arrested at a home on Lime Street in Cabramatta.

Police allegedly found a .32 calibre pistol, a 357 chrome Magnum revolver and cannabis at the home.

Merza, 25, was already the subject of a firearms prohibition order, having been sentenced to a minimum two-year jail term in 2014 for gun possession.

He was arrested during a crackdown on DLASTHR in 2012 but emerged on the police radar again after his release from prison.

Conflicts between DLASTHR and other groups in the western Sydney area have led to a string of shootings, fire bombings and extortion tactics over the past several months.

Police have previously said that the release of some long-standing gang members from prison was contributing to the ongoing violence.

Rimsin Shlaimon, 29, was also arrested at the Lime Street home and charged with firearm possession offences. He was not charged over the Fairfield stabbing.

Martin Hana, 23, was arrested during a raid at Fairfield.

It is alleged Hana and Shlaimon are junior level associates of DLASTHR.

Like Merza, Hana has also been charged with attempted murder and wound with intent to cause grevious bodily harm.

All three appeared in Fairfield Local Court and have been refused bail.

Last month police warned the ranks of Assyrian organised crime groups in the Fairfield area were being bolstered by the younger relatives of its founding and senior members.

Operation Condor was launched earlier this year to combat the violence, which has included more than a dozen shootings since the start of the year.

The high-visibility police operation echoed similar strategies used to combat bikie and gun violence in the past.

One man who was shot in the back during a pre-dawn ambush in Fairfield earlier this year has since been told his injuries have left him as a paraplegic.
