BURGER RECALL: Take back any curried pumpkin and corn burgers with a best before date of November 2, 2016 and November 9, 2016.

Coles is recalling its Coles brand 250 gram curried pumpkin and corn burgers, due to the presence of an undeclared allergen - gluten from wheat.

The curried pumpkin and corn burgers are sold in Coles and Bi-Lo supermarkets and Coles Online in NSW, the ACT, Queensland, Victoria and Tasmania.

The recall is for burgers carrying a best before date of November 2, 2016 and November 9, 2016.

No other date codes are affected.

Coles said consumers who had a wheat or gluten allergy or intolerance may experience a reaction if they consume the product.

Customers can return the burgers to any Coles supermarket for a full refund, and any consumers concerned about their health should seek medical advice, the company said.

Coles apologised to customers for any inconvenience.
