Shoalhaven United started off the Premier League season well with a few good wins followed by a loss and a couple of draws. The boys regrouped and achieved some hard fought wins which gave them a confidence boost and earnt them second place on the competition ladder.

They came up against a tough Basin side in the semi-final and managed to come away with a 2-1 victory rewarding them with a week off and going straight into the Grand Final.
Basin got their chance to avenge that loss when they neat Husky 4 to 2 to also earn a place in the Grand Final.
United came out strong in the Grand Final but both teams were showing determination and hunger.
United managed to score an early goal from the corner, slotting one away. The game then consisted of a lot of end to end stuff with both teams displaying solid defence. Basin came out firing in the second half and managed to equalise with a 30m screamer.
United seemed to lose momentum for a short period however soon got back into the game. United triumphed into injury time with 20 seconds to go. With a corner and some scrambling in the box United managed to find the back of the net, sealing the win.
Stand out players for United were Ryan Davie, Tim Bagnall, Michael Green and Lachlan White.
