Bradley Lonesborough, 23, didn’t enter any pleas when he appeared in Nowra Local Court on Monday charged with damaging property by fire, two counts of assaulting police and resisting arrest.
Police were called to the Bainbridge Crescent home around 2pm on Saturday.
It is alleged Lonesborough tried to damage the NSW Department of Housing property by fire.
While being arrested he allegedly assaulted seven separate officers, including a Chief Inspector.
It is also alleged he resisted arrest by four officers.
Bail was not applied for and was refused by Magistrate Gabriel Fleming.
He will be back in court on September 17.
