Police believe the crash is a result of an ongoing neighbourhood dispute.
Emergency services were called to Kinkuna Street in Busby about 11pm where they found the woman suffering compound fractures to her legs, a fractured pelvis and lacerations to her head.
Initial investigations said the women was struck after a Toyota Landcruiser drove onto the footpath, trapping her between it and a Subaru Forrester.
She was treated at the scene before being taken to hospital where she will require surgery.
Police will allege a 46-year-old male driver reversed the 4WD and drove to nearby Bolinda Street where the vehicle mounted the gutter, stuck a fence and another stationary vehicle.
He was arrested a short time later and taken to Green Valley Police station where he has been charged with grievous bodily harm with intent and drive whilst disqualified.
He has been refused bail and is expected to appear at Parramatta Bail Court on Saturday.
In another incident, a 23-year-old woman is in a serious but stable condition following an alleged hit and run in Coogee.
Emergency services were called to Brook Street where they found the woman with serious head injuries. She was treated at the scene before being taken to St Vincents Hospital where she will undergo surgery.
Inquiries are continuing into both incidents.
