Police have charged two men after a number of people were allegedly threatened with a firearm at Bellambi.

Wollongong police were called to a Rothery Street address about 11.10pm Sunday, following reports a man in a blue Holden Commodore had left his car and threatened the occupants of a home with a firearm. He then allegedly left the area in a white car with another man.
A short time later, police spotted a white Ford Territory containing two men, and directed it to stop on Memorial Drive.
During a search of the vehicle, police allegedly located a loaded .357 revolver, ammunition and ‘ice’ (methylamphetamine).
A blue Holden Commodore was also located in Bellambi and secured for forensic analysis.
Two men, aged 28 and 31, were arrested and taken to Wollongong Police Station.
Both were refused bail and charged with possess loaded firearm, possess unregistered firearm, and not keep firearm safely.
The 28-year-old man appeared at Wollongong Local Court on Monday and was remanded to reappear on Friday.
The 31-year-old man also appeared on Monday. He was remanded to reappear on October 5.
