The school held its annual Science Fair, with years five and six producing in-depth science projects, full of investigation, testing and experiments, while years three and four produced simple machines.
Students, parents and special guests were treated to 77 scientific displays in the school’s hall.
Topics such as saving energy around the house, which animal poo burns best as an alternative to wood, which bubble gum flavour lasts the longest, which M&M shell dissolves the quickest, does smell affect taste, through to human feelings were on display.
First, second and third place getters in each divisions as well as seven highly commended award winners will now progress to the Illawarra Coal Science Fair.
