Guided holiday company, AAT Kings stripped the interior of one of their luxury vehicles, removed the last three rows and replaced them with a piano bar complete with upright grand piano and bar setting.
“We love our iPhones and Spotify playlists as much as anyone but we also remember a time when the musical entertainment came from the piano in the corner of a bar or pub and locals joined in when they knew the words - and often when they didn’t,” Anthony Hayes, Managing Director, AAT Kings said.
We want to recreate that sense of community spirit and good old-fashioned fun with our World’s First Mobile Piano Bar.
“The Mobile Piano Bar gives us a chance to engage with local communities in many of the places our trips don’t normally visit and to give them a sense to see, or should I say hear, what we’re all about,” Mr Hayes said.
From July 6 to 29, the Mobile Piano Bar travelled to more than 30 cities in four states including Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria and South Australia.
Along the way AAT Kings partnered with talented local musicians who tinkled the ivories with an abundance of crowd-pleasing favourites and requests.
