Thursday, July 28: midweek mountain bike ride, Parma Creek Nature Reserve, 35km return, moderate pace, unsealed roads and bush tracks. The ride will start at 8:30am at the United service station on the Princes Highway, south of Falls Creek and will be a mountain bike ride in the Parma Creek Nature Reserve using bush tracks and gravel roads. Suitable for experienced cyclists. Bring water and snacks. Coffee and food after the ride. For more information contact Rod 0428 211 487.
Sunday, July 31: Bamarang Dam, 30km return, moderate pace, some traffic, significant hills, mountain bike required, unsealed roads. Starts at 9am at Nowra Visitors Centre. The ride route is through Nowra and West Nowra, along Yalwal Road, past the Bamerang Dam and Bamerang Nature Reserve. The ride returns along Bamerang Road, with excellent views along the Shoalhaven River. Contact: Peter (02) 4446 0119 or Mel 0439 483 088.
