Hundreds of year 10 students from local high schools flooded the campus for the annual Shoalhaven Careers Expo.
About 45 Shoalhaven organisations set up across three sites at the uni to talk with the students about their industry, career options and the kind of subjects they should pursue in year 11 and 12 to get where they’d like to be.
As stallholders put the finishing touches on their displays, busloads of enthusiastic, smiling students started arriving ready to check out the action.
With free WiFi on offer, participants were encouraged to share their day on social media using the hashtag #shoalcareerexpo.
No doubt some took advantage of the opportunity to catch a few Pokemon, but all seemed happy to have face to face chats with business owners and employees getting the scoop on how to get a head start in their career.
