What’s better than a win?
A very proud coach and an extremely chuffed team, with the boys defeating the current competition leaders, Gerringong, 38-8.
Dallas Riley-Burnes was a well-deserved man of the match, running in two tries and routinely busting through the opposition’s line.
Campbell Richardson-Thornton started off the scoring with a break away try and easily converted all but one of the team’s four pointers.
Andrew Rowley ran his second try in as many games, with Trumelong Reid again crossing two times. Keeda Meehan also crossed twice. Well done Dolphins.
U15s Culburra Dolphins def Warilla Gorillas 52-12
At Crookhaven Oval for the U15s.
It was a beautiful sunny day and the boys went all out, with an overwhelming performance to win 52-12.
Try scorers: Jayden Murphy-Sebbens, Lachlan Kaszonyi, Ky Lukas, Max Feast, Jack Gourlay, Jared Jankovic, Luke Wood, Reese Fairweather, Tane Clarke and conversions by Max Feast and Jayden Murphy-Sebbens.
Well done Dolphins.
U12s Culburra Dolphins lost to Stingrays 34-6
U12s returned to Flinders Oval, Shellharbour, to take on the third place Stingrays.
The boys fought a strong game, never giving up but were unlucky, going down 34-6.
Best players on the day were Max Vukelic, Sam Colgate and Zac Floyd, with solid defence, hard forward runs and gained metres.
The whole team played well, with special mention to Dylan Burns who put in plenty of talk to keep the boys moving forward, getting shape and putting on some great tackles.
Well done boys.
U7s Culburra Dolphins lost to St Georges Basin 36-12
Another improvement on defence today against some big opposition. Tries scored by Ethan, Glenn and Jakai, with some strong runs from Tully and Jayla also helping our attack.
Just a few strong runs from some much bigger kids was the difference.
Great to see everyone having fun with one game to go.
Well Done boys.
