AN $17.6 million four storey apartment building has been planned for St Georges Basin.
Plans for the 58 residential units at Anson Street have been lodged with Shoalhaven City Council.
Cowman Stoddart have made the application for owner David DeBattista, which also seeks the strata subdivision of the proposed development.
The subject land is 4753 square metres and is located adjacent to St Georges Basin town centre and 295m east from the water’s edge of Homes Bay, which is part of St Georges Basin.
The proposal, to be located on the southern side of Anson Street, will be four storeys with two basement levels.
It consists of a residential flat building development consisting of two buildings that together contain 58 units.
The proposal will include 18 two bedroom apartments and 40 three bedroom apartments, with 107 off-street parking spaces within the basement levels, including six disabled parking spots and eight visitor car parking spaces.
Parking for 29 bicycles and two car washing bays would also he provided.
The proposed buildings will generally have a maximum height of 13 metres (four storeys) with minor encroachments of this height limit.
It is the sixth major unit development application for the Shoalhaven area since the start of the year.
A $15 million four storey residential apartment building, featuring 57 units and commercial space has been proposed for the corner of Albatross Road and Kinghorne Street. Lee Carmichael Town Planning made the application for owner Bill Zervos, of Burraneer, southern Sydney.
A $9.2 million unit complex has been proposed for 32 medium density units for 65, 67 and 69 Graham Street, on land owned by South Coast Property Development.
Thirty-one medium density single storey detached units, valued at $4.18 million, have also been proposed on vacant land at Isa Road, Worrigee, owned by Corrie Vale Pastoral company Pty Ltd, of Mosman.
Seven single storey, multi-dwelling housing units valued at $1.05 million have been lodged by Lee Carmichael Town Planning for owner Linda Moore, of Gerroa at 164 Illaroo Road, North Nowra.
And an application for three single story units valued at $578,000, has been proposed for 80 Shoalhaven Street, Nowra by Craig White Building Designs for owner Stephanie Crawford, of Artarmon.
