Sixty students from year five to 12 are busily rehearsing the stage show production based on the original script by JM Barrie.
Director Rosie Ellery said the songs will drawn from the original broadway musical as well as some newer ones from Peter Pan: A British Musical.
“It’s a show that every age will love – all about the boy wouldn’t grow up and the adventures he and his Lost Boys have in Neverland fighting pirates and Indians,” she said.
“He convinced Wendy Darling to come with her two brothers to Neverland to be their mother.”
A matinee performance will be held from 11am to 2pm on Wednesday, August 17.
Performances will also be held on August 18, 19 and 20 at 6.30pm.
The show will be open to the general public and tickets will be available from www.ncs.nsw.edu.au from Friday, June 30.
