The school hosted a ‘Footy Colours’ day on Wednesday, June 29 with students wearing their favourite team’s jersey and donating to Kids With Cancer.
Students raised $201 to go towards helping children and their families living with cancer.
Dylan Farrell from the St George Illawarra Dragons also paid a visit to the school.
“He’s a wonderful ambassador of our school,” Bomaderry Public’s Gemma Tunks said.
“He supports us with Aboriginal cultural programs and helps the kids with the keys to success.”
The day also involved the school’s ‘Doing Things Together’ program, with older students guiding younger students through a range of NAIDOC Week themed activities. This year’s NAIDOC theme is ‘Song Lines.’
