Harriet Wran, the daughter of the late former NSW premier Neville Wran, appeared before a Sydney court on Monday ahead of her trial for the alleged murder of a drug dealer.

Her mother and former Qantas executive Jill Hickson Wran, arrived at the NSW Supreme Court to support her daughter.
Ms Wran, 28, is charged with murder, wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm and robbery in company, following an alleged botched drug deal with small-time dealer Daniel McNulty in a public housing unit in Redfern on August 10, 2014.
She has pleaded not guilty to murder.
Her co-accused Lloyd Haines is charged with murder, causing grievous bodily harm with intent to murder and robbery in company causing wounding.
Ms Wran is the youngest daughter of the late Labor great and his second wife, Jill.
Mr Wran was premier of NSW from 1976 to 1986 but died in April, 2014 at age 87 after suffering from dementia.
Mother and daughter sat just metres away, as legal argument between parties got underway.
Ms Wran, wore a blue collared shirt and jumper underneath a black blazer, and sat upright throughout the proceedings.
Last October she formally waived her right to a committal hearing, which sped up the trial process.
The Crown prosecutor in the matter is Peter McGrath, SC, and Ms Wran is represented by Phillip Boulten,SC.
Ms Wran's trial is expected to be heard before Justice Ian Harrison.
