A gale wind warning has been issued for the Batemans Coast and Eden Coast, while a strong wind warning has been issued for the Illawarra Coast for today (Friday).
Today westerly 20 to 30 knots increasing to 25 to 30 knots during the day are expected for the Illawarra Coast with a southerly swell of one to two metres, increasing to two to three metres reaching up to four metres offshore from the afternoon.
A strong wind warning has been issued for tomorrow for the Illawarra coast with westerly winds of 15 to 25 knots turning southwesterly in the early afternoon.
Winds reaching up to 30 knots offshore early Saturday morning and again in the late evening.
On Sunday southwesterly winds reaching 20 to 30 knots, decreasing to 15 to 20 knots during the morning then turning westerly 10 to 15 knots during the evening are expected.
