The event saw plenty of groups stream through the gates to get a glimpse of their magnificently prepared four acres of gardens.
There was plenty to do and enjoy for every age group at the inaugural public event.
Guests could make use of the tennis court and have a hit with friends, relax on the open lawn, take a garden tour with Merribee’s Director of Gardens James Thompson or enjoy a bite to nibble and a drink and listen to the great music on offer.
The kids didn’t miss out either, with story-book telling time in the secret garden and a mobile petting zoo to get up close and personal with the farm animals.
Merribee are also planning a range of events throughout the winter months, which will enable more people to enjoy one of the areas most beautiful historical properties.
