The club announced in August last year it has purchased the 8.48 hectare block with an eye to the future as a long-term project to provide options for the club to secure its future growth into West Bomaderry, North Nowra and Cambewarra.
Mr Wilbraham said a master plan was being established for the site but at this stage the club had no firms plans.
“There has been a bit of interest. We have had a couple of local real estate agents contact us saying people were interested in purchasing the site,” he said.
“But it is not for sale.
“We don’t even take control until July 1.”
Mr Wilbraham said at this stage the plans were to establish an indoor bowling club and a retirement village.
“The retirement village is plan number one,” he said.
“But we haven’t even settled on the site yet.
“We won’t have enough financial strength to do what we want to do straight away but we would be open if partners wanted to come on board.
“This is a long term plan put in place for members of the future.”
The land is zoned to permit the construction of a registered club subject to development application approval.
The club paid an undisclosed amount for the property and has agreed to a long-term lease arrangement with Ray White Livestock.
