Daniel Cory Gavin, 35, of Pineridge Crescent, Silverdale appeared in Nowra Local Court on Monday before Magistrate Darryl Pearce charged with three counts of dishonestly obtain property by deception,
The court heard Gavin failed to pay for petrol at a Woolworths petrol station at Narellan on January 19 worth $45; a Coles Express station at Narellan on March 2 worth $57; and a Woolworths petrol station at Narellan on March 15 worth $48.
Court papers said he was captured on CCTV footage on each occasion.
Nowra police stopped Gavin in a vehicle on the Princes Highway at Bomaderry on April 2.
He allegedly told officers that he may have owed about $10.
Magistrate Pearce convicted him of the offences and fined him $1400, $1200 and $800 (a total of $3400) and ordered he pay compensation to the petrol stations.
