A NOWRA man who allegedly went on a spending spree with two credit cards has appeared in Nowra Local Court.

Tyson Carney, 28, of Supply Street Nowra appeared before Magistrate Darryl Pearce on Monday, charged with four counts of dishonestly obtain financial advantage by deception and with having goods suspected of being stolen.
The court heard Carney allegedly used an NAB and IMB credit card on April 14 this year to purchase two gambling vouchers and a packet of cigarettes at South Nowra valued at $95.50; phone credit and three packets of cigarettes worth $78.97 at South Nowra; two gambling credit vouchers valued at $70 Bomaderry; and three Coles gift vouchers in Nowra worth $170.
Carney didn’t enter any pleas and the matters will be back in court on May 16.
