The Shoalhaven Heads resident was born May 14, 1916 in Chile South America. Her parents had migrated from France in the late 1800s with their parents.
She married in 1935 and had two sons. Following the migration of her first son, his wife and two granddaughters in 1970 and then her second in 1973, she migrated to Australia with her husband.
Her and her husband lived happily in Australia with everyone living together in one home, moving to Campbelltown and then Camden.
In 1985 her husband passed away. She then moved to Liverpool where her second son, Oscar lived on his own.
They both then moved to Burrawong Park Shoalhaven Heads where they have been living for the past 18 years.
She will be celebrating her 100th birthday on Saturday, May 14 at Panorama House Wollongong with family and friends coming from the local area, as well as Sydney, Wollongong, Queensland and overseas.
