The application has been made for a parcel of land bounded by Morseby and Vendetta streets, backing onto homes on Park Road, adjacent to Shoalhaven High School.
Niki Willdig, of the Tovedal Group at North Nowra, has made the application for project on land owned by Ostavest Pty Ltd and Chimney Rock Hill Pty Ltd (part of the Druce DP Group).
The subdivision includes associated roads and infrastructure and request for alternate solutions in regard to street trees, and front and side setbacks.
The blocks will range in size from 500 square metres to 600 plus square metres.
The site has always been earmarked for development of residential blocks and is located within a developed residential area.
Local residents use the vegetated land, which includes walking and car tracks, to unofficially gain access to McKay Street via Moresby and Vendetta streets to the north of the site.
In an effort to simplify and reduce the costs for the purchaser, Tovedale will create the proposed residential subdivision with a predetermined list of dwellings, which can be erected on any of the allotments, at a set price.
The predetermined list of dwellings will be produced using local builders that respond to the company’s request to meet its list of inclusions, requirements and price point to provide for first time entrants into the housing market.
