The two Shoalhaven District Junior Cricket Association teams played their match on Saturday and the Maroons took the points.
The Maroon made 131 nett runs in their innings and the Blues made 51 nett runs.
The winners had several contributors with the bat.
Riley O’Carroll made 16 runs with two boundaries, Hayden Batson made 17 runs with two boundaries and Lucas Zerafa’s impressive 13 runs included one boundary.
Ethan Scott-Branagen took two wickets for the Blues, while Meagan Davis, Jayden Stewart, Ella Webeck and Tom Duncan took one each.
The Blues worked hard with the bat and pushed their club-mates all the way.
Caleb Patterson made seven runs, while Meagan Davis, Ethan Scott-Branagen and Harriett Duffle all made five runs.
The Maroons bowlers were accurate and took wickets at a steady rate.
Caleb Porters, Cassie O’Carroll, Sam Neri and Riley O’Carroll all took two wickets for the Maroons.
In other mods matches Berry Shoalhaven Heads Whites made 3/148 in its innings at the Berry Sporting Complex and Shoalhaven Ex-Servicemen’s made 11/95, Batemans Bay made 4/129 in its innings at Surfside Small and Berry Shoalhaven Heads Blacks made 14/40 and finally Ulladulla United made 6/85 at Burrill Lake and Nowra made 8/110.
