Matthew Higham, Shania Campbell-Cooper, Kali Madge, Jayden Madge and Freya Robinson-Mills represented the club proudly at the NSW Long Course 12 years and under State Age Championships at Sydney Olympic Park Homebush.
Under the pressure of some swimming at a State level for the first time, the five of them blitzed it in the pool with four massive PB's.
A special congratulations to Freya Robinson-Mills who was a finalist in the 200 metres breaststroke, placing 6th and breaking the elusive three-minute mark.
In the NSW 13-18 Years State Age Championships, Club Captain Allison Sparks was coming back from a significant knee injury but still did two substantial PB's while clubmate Hollie Miles did herself and her club proud in the 200 metres backstroke.
Last weekend 19 swimmers from Bomaderry Swim Club competed in the South Eastern Swimming Association Area Championships and Speedo Sprint Series held in Ulladulla.
Bomaderry achieved a massive 59 PB's; 12 Gold (Jack Batson 3, Shania Campbell-Cooper 1; Matthew Higham 1 (in a SESA record time); Jayden Madge 2; Hollie Miles 1, Freya Robinson-Mills 2 and Allison Sparks 2).
These, along with a significant number of placings earned Bomaderry 5th overall after Corrimal, West Illawarra Aquatic, Wollongong and Ulladulla.
Congratulations also to Shania Campbell-Cooper, Matthew Higham, Jarrod James, Kali Madge, Jayden Madge, Hollie Miles and Freya Robinson-Mills who will be representing the South Eastern Swimming Association at the NSW Swimming Speedo Sprint Finals at Homebush in March.
Bomaderry swimmers were supported by some amazing parents who got in and assisted with timekeeping and Club Coach Janine Sparks who organised the fantastic relay teams.
