Michael Atfield had a great day with the bats in the February Medal. His 64 nett won him the 'A' grade Medal and the coveted 'Mug' for the month.

Stu Pinkard was next best with a fine 65 nett which made his scratch the best in 'A' grade and he had the best shot for the long drive.
Graeme Cant was a long way from home but managed a 65 nett for third place.
All you needed to make a a showing in 'B' was 68 nett and that went respectively to Rod Crouch, Matt Abernethy and Josh Irwin. Rod was good for the scratch and the 'B' medal. Long drive to Lindsey Jones.
That amazing gentleman from Gerringong, Ted Wright, must have had a smooth day with the wands to record an impressive 66 nett for the medal in 'C' grade. Peter Brown was good for second with his 67 nett and that got him the scratch.
John Austin's 69 nett was next best for third spot. Long drive to Sam Leedham. Balls ran out at the better 72 nett.
Sue Beazley was the best in the ladies with an 83 nett.
The Vets played the ever popular four-person Ambrose for boys and girls and it was good to see the usual suspects appear from their relative clubs to help boost the field.
Great to see Robin Douglas, Dave Smith, Dennis Davis and Darryl Roth take first from those hillbillies from Jamberoo Bruce Hammond, Daryl Campbell, Rod Hodkinson and the Shell Cove ring-in Charlie Beer on c/b all scoring 55¼ nett.
The girls winners with 64 and 7/8 nett were Sue Stephens, Ange Boadle, Sue Hunter and Sandra England. Balls ran out at 66 and 7/8 nett.
The team of Jill Levi, D. Pritchard, S. Davies and Jan Buttle were closest at the 4th. Des Thornett was good for the 8th.
The men's Wednesday Single Stableford hosted enough to make two grades and the winner of 'A' grade with a fine 41 pts was Rob Coulthart. Matt. Barnes was next with the better 40 pts for second and Matt Smith from Worrigee was good for third with his 40 pts.
Nice to see Bill Carey get that back working to bring home 39 pts for first in 'B' grade.
That Bells Lane bandit, Wassa Dunlop snuck in a cool 37 pts for second spot. Ron Reynolds only needed 36 pts for third.
There were only four players in the Medley Stableford on Sunday. Peter Dalmazzo had 35 pts and he also was on the 8th NTP.
The course is coming into the max growth period of the year so anyone who can help the boys cut grass would be much appreciated by Maurie and his merry men.
