Alexander Thomas, Brownlie, 42, of Lady Jamieson Road, appeared before Magistrate Dr Gabriel Fleming charged with dangerous driving occurring death - drive manner dangerous strictly indictable and with negligent driving (causing death).
Brownlie did not enter a plea to either charge,
The court heard between 3.40pm and 3.47pm on December 21 he was driving a Kenworth truck on the Princes Highway at Tomerong that was involved in the impact occasioning the death of Sussex Inlet man Gavin Murray.
Brownlie had his bailed continued and will reappear in Nowra Local Court on March 23.
