The proposed subdivision covers 31.163 hectares and the demolition of four existing buildings to create 20 large residential lots and one residue parcel, which will be attached to a residential zoned portion of land.
The application was put forward by Cowman Stoddart on behalf of Tim and Wendy Samways for Linkwood Nowra.
A development application was originally submitted for a total of 22 allotments for this land in January 2015. This development application was withdrawn as it failed to make provision for the creation of rural/environmental protection zoned residual parcels.
The current proposal associated with this development application variation is a reduction of one lot with the residue parcel now attached to a parcel of R5 zoned land in keeping with the recent changes to the provisions of the SLEP 2014.
The proposal will also involve the construction of a road to service the proposed subdivision off Millbank Road and will be dedicated to council.
The proposed residential allotments will vary in size between 2000m2 and 2921m2.
The application can be viewed on the Shoalhaven City Council website. DA number: SF10487.
