A 34-YEAR-OLD Bomaderry man, who pleaded guilty to reckless grievous bodily harm, has appealed his 12-month jail sentence.

Bobby Schofield, of Brinawarr Street, was sentenced to 12-months jail with a non-parole period of four months by Magistrate Dr Gabriel Fleming in Nowra Local Court on Wednesday.
He was also ordered to participate in anger management and alcohol counselling.
The court heard on June 13 Schofield harmed another man at North Nowra.
Scofield lodged an appeal to his sentence, was granted bail, and the matter will be heard in Nowra District Court on February 2.
