Nowra and Ex-Servicemen’s played what was an energetic match on Saturday at the Bomaderry Sportsground.
Nowra’ net score was 142 runs and Exies made 72 runs.
Jackson Ingram made an impressive 23 runs for Nowra and struck three powerful boundaries.
Nowra, in general, produced an impressive effort with the bat.
Jack Langford made 19 runs with four boundaries, Will Dyball 18 runs with two boundaries and Cohen Langlo 12 runs all smashed the ball around for Nowra.
The impressive Allira Smith took three wickets for Exies, while Jack Lunn, Tom Richards, Hunter Gilkes, Matthew Higham, Jack Hopkins, Nash Connell and Erik Janes all took wickets.
Matthew Higham was the star with the bat for Exies and made 15 runs with two boundaries.
Hunter Gilkes eight runs, Kambel Chander nine runs and Jack Hopkins eight runs also played some handsome strokes.
For Nowra Tye Fahey, Charlie Manwarring, Jackson Ingram and Ben Royston nabbed two wickets apiece.
It was a great match to watch.
