Jarrett scored 105 runs, including 12 boundaries and three sixes, as Ulladulla declared at 6/243.
Both Malcolm Granger (29 not out) and Dale Ramsden (28) also chipped in solid innings’ for the hosts.
With the ball, Byron Fry continued his strong form going for Nowra, taking 2/44.
After the change of innings, opening bowler Shann Carriage rewarded his skipper’s Tony Lavalle decision to declare.
Carriage (2/7) dismissed both Nowra openers Byron Fry (3) and Daniel Dempsey (0) early, as the visitors ended the day at 3/35.
Elsewhere, the third-placed Shoalhaven Ex-Servicemens have a big task in front of them on the second day of their match against at Bay and Basin at Huskisson Oval.
The visitors won the toss and sent Basin in, which suited the hosts perfectly.
Led by 71 not out by Tobias Hanger and 66 from Marcus Lamb, saw Bay and Basin get to 8/272 after 43 overs.
For the visitors, Sam Donald led the way with 3/39, while team mate Joseph Parkes recorded 2/112.
When they get the chance to bat, Ex-Servos are sure to count on Parkes, who is averaging 79.50, and Barry Cumberland, averaging 38.
The final match of the round is between Ulladulla United Blues and Berry-Shoalhaven Heads at Lake Conjola Oval.
The Blues won the toss and sent the visitors to the crease first.
Berry opening batsmen Peter Richardson (16) and Ryan Lord (29) laid a strong platform for their team to build an innings off.
But apart from duo Stuart Richardson (19) and Chris Platts (24), no other batsmen could make it in to double digits, as the visitors were all out for 143 in the 43rd over.
Ulladulla’s William Gengelacki was dangerous with the ball in hand, claiming 3/13, while Cordale Bakouris (2/9) and Andrew Robertson (2/5) dismissed two batsmen.
But Berry’s bowlers stood up after the change of innings and helped them secure first innings points.
Stuart Richardson was near unplayable, taking incredible figures of 7/43 from 10.2 overs.
He was well supported by Chris Platts (2/22) and Tom Troy (1/23).
For Ulladulla, only William Gengelacki (25) and Scott Evans (40) offered any resistance with the willow.
Second-placed Bomaderry had the bye this round.
