The November weigh-in welcomed new members Ollie, Charlie and Jack Parrish joining the regular fishers with a nice show of fish.
Darren Vassallo took out the Beach division, Craig Jeffery won the Estuary, Deep Sea went to Mick Ziebell, Tameika Purnell was winner of the ladies and Erin Gray was runner-up.
Fish of the month was Kevin Buchan with a .680 kg mullet.
Junior winners were new member Ollie Parrish followed by brother Charlie Parrish, Kayle Rattenbury followed by young Harvey Purnell with his first catch, a mullet.
I hear that fishing makes you hungry as it appears Harvey decided to eat the fresh bread bought for the mullet bait. Well done to the juniors.
South Coast Estuary comp went well. The winning team was Berry B team of Peter Gray, Craig Jeffery, Gary Stephens and Sharon Jeffery.
Runners-up were Berry A team, Keith Mitchell, Bob Mahoney, Kevin Buchan and Mick Ziebell.
Sharon Jeffery was Lady Champ and keeping it in the family, Craig Jeffery was Individual champ with Peter Gray being runner-up.
Veteran Champ was Peter Gray. Kayle Rattenbury took out the Juniors with a nice catch.
The South Coast Freshwater competition held at Eucumbene was a tale of woe for Berry.
Other than catching a few before the actual comp days, it was a disappointing result.
Kayle Rattenbury caught a beautiful brown trout weighing 3.62 kilograms and although it was caught before the comp, he was able to record it on the board for the Berry Fishing Club and will find out later if it will be a South Coast record.
The presentation day for Berry Fisho's is on November 29 and the annual eel catching comp for the juniors will be held there in the creek behind the Berry Bowling Club.
Next weigh-in is December 11-13 and the fish of the month is trevally.
