Man charged with possessing drugs at jail
A SOUTH West Sydney man, charged with attempting to take prohibited drugs into the South Coast Correctional Centre, has appeared in Nowra Local Court.

Simon Yaco, 23, of Eagle Hawk Street, Hickenberg, appeared before Magistrate Dr Gabriel Fleming on Tuesday facing two counts of possessing a prohibited drug, bring/introduce a small quantity of drugs into a detention centre and with supplying a prohibited drug indictable quantity (not cannabis).
The court heard on May 24 at South Nowra, Yaco was discovered with 2.6grams of buprenorphine and 2.3g of methamphetamine graduals.
He will reappear in Nowra Local Court on January 19.
