On Saturday, October 17 from 10am the school’s back oval will be transformed into a family-friendly fun land.
This year’s fair will run in conjunction with the sixth annual Quilt and Craft Show which attracts quilters from all over the state.
The Quilt and Craft Show runs over Saturday and Sunday.
This year there will be over $2000 worth of prizes to give away at the school fair, including a weekend holiday package at Wollongong Leisure Resort.
There will also be a skateboard and scooter competition, live music, markets, lolly shop, face painting, fire engine display, jumping castle, craft, market and food stalls and more.
Last year’s event was such a success the school has had to move the fair to the back oval for more space and the students are excited to get involved.
Year 3 student Chris Lee said he was bursting to see Dusty the snake man again for the chance to get up-close and personal with weird and wonderful reptiles.
“Then I think I’ll go check out the skateboard competition.”
Reece Glover agreed the reptiles were the coolest thing to see, but he most looked forward to taking a peek at the diamond python.
Fellow student, Charlie Garrett said last year he loved the side-show alley games.
“I really liked the one where you had to throw a football at a target for the chance to win a prize,” he said.
For Piper O’Connell the lucky dip was the game to look out for and Amelia McCarthy said she was most excited to see what would be inside this year’s showbags.
“I can’t wait to do the obstacle course too,” Amelia said.
