Having sent out a general flyer to other clubs to join us, we were absolutely delighted to be joined by over 50 visitors giving us a total field of 83 ladies.
The day was glorious and the golf not too bad. The competition was a 2BBB Stableford plus Singles.
There was only one winner in the pairs match and the honour went to Melissa Cooke and Anne Coles from the Heads.
However the visitors made their presence felt in the single matches.
Tara Mackie won the Division 1 competition with Lynne Townsend from Wollongong in second place and Irene Robertson from the Heads in third.
Division 2 went to Trish Dyball from St George’s Basin followed by Maggie Simmons from Gerringong and third was Julie Stringer from Wollongong.
Finally the Division 3 winners were Carole Light, Gloria Holgate and Kerry Coulter, all from St Georges Basin.
Nearest the Pin went to Lynne Townsend, Maggie Simmons and Natalie Delves with longest drive going to Colleen Bell, Marg Hyland and Barbara Franklin.
Thank you ladies for your support and enjoyable company. We raised $667 for the Breast Cancer Research and hope to do it again next year.
