The local trio have had considerable airtime on Triple J Unearthed with their song Desert Wine.
The Big Crack Up Variety Night will be held Thursday, October 8 at the Shoalhaven Entertainment Centre from 7pm until 11pm.
It is sponsored by the St Georges Basin Country Club and hosted by the Shoalhaven Mental Health Fellowship.
The event is designed to celebrate Mental Health Month for October 2015.
The theme for this year is “value your mind”.
The organisers hope to bring awareness to the community that mental health is an issue for one in four people throughout the population.
It is also designed to reduce the stigma associated with mental illness.
Over the past few years it has become a tradition for Shoalhaven Mental Health Fellowship to sponsor the very entertaining variety night featuring new and established local artists.
This year will see the return of some very popular local artists playing some covers as well as their own songs.
Janine, a local singer is back again to thrill the audience.
Maverick, a hip hop, ballet dancer, singer and crowd favourite is also back to entertain.
The organisers are thrilled to have Maya back for another singing performance.
Greg and Emil have written the theme song for Mental Health Month, Value your mind, which they will perform on the night.
Other local artists including Chris and Maverick, Alan Blackshaw, Chris Langdon, Jam tarts, Edgehogs, Virtual Street Corner Band and Tasty Mortals will also appear on the night.
Organiser Emil Suljic said said the aim was to put on a good show, entertain people and to celebrate Mental Health Month.
“We try to do a variety show,” Emil said.
“We have even had some circus acts.
“And it can also give someone a chance who hasn’t performed before.”
