TOURISM operators in the northern Shoalhaven picked up a swag of accolades at Wednesday night’s South Coast Tourism Awards.

Jervis Bay Wild took out the top gong for Accessible Tourism and general manager Sam Tooley said they couldn’t have been prouder.
“The award has been something we have been building toward for the last couple of years,” Mr Tooley said.
“We offer inclusive tourism on the South Coast with a fully accessible boat – not only is it wheelchair accessible, we have disabled toilets and we even have boom netting which is accessible for people with disabilities.”
Discover Jervis Bay picked up two gold awards in the category of Marketing and Promotion and Tourism Small Business Operator and Dolphin Watch Cruises received gold for the category of Tour and Transport Operator.
Escape@Culburra took out gold for Accommodation Self Catering, Holiday Houses and Service Apartments.
The Lookout Cambewarra Mountain received gold for Tourism Cafes, while Kangaroo Valley Fudge House & Ice Creamery picked up gold for Tourism Retailing and bronze for Tourism Small Business Operator. South Coast Holidays nudged out Kangaroo Valley Getaways who took out gold and silver respectively in the category of Accommodation Holiday Rental Services.
Barrengarry Boutique Farm Cottages took out silver for Unique Accommodation and Tourism Small Business Operator.
South on Albany in Berry claimed silver for Tourism Restaurants and the Berry Chamber of Commerce and Tourism received a silver for Marketing and Promotion.
