A SYDNEY man who pleaded guilty to resisting police and destroying/damaging property has been sentenced to 11 months’ jail.

Malachie Cutmore, 21, of Septimus Street, Erskineville appeared before Magistrate Geraldine Beattie in Nowra Local Court on Monday.
Police facts stated the charges resulted following an incident at Shoalhaven Heads on May 29.
Police alleged he caused damage to a flyscreen, plaster wall and Colorbond fence and resisted and hindered police.
For the resist offence Magistrate Beattie sentenced him to nine months’ jail with a non-parole period of six months and on the resist/hinder police sentenced him to 11 months with a non-parole period of six months.
Both sentenced will be served concurrently.
Charges of stalk/intimidate intend physical harm and common assault were withdrawn and dismissed.
