The muscle seen alongside embattled Auburn deputy mayor Salim Mehajer​ will spend the next nine months behind bars after turning up at a stranger's home and demanding $25,000.

Walid Elriche, aged 33, told police he didn't know the man whose front door he banged on and kicked on March 18 or why the victim owed the money.

Court documents reveal the burly, self-declared hairdresser just wished to help his mate reclaim the money.

On Friday he was sentenced in Parramatta Local Court to 12 months' jail, with a non-parole period of nine months, after pleading guilty to stalking or intimidating the victim at Castle Hill with intent to cause fear or harm.

Elriche's profile was revealed last week after he was photographed with friend and councillor Mr Mehajer, who was grappling with the fallout from his lavish, traffic-stopping wedding.

Facts tendered in court state Elriche, his co-accused William "Bill" Siryani and an unknown third man turned up to victim Peter Tawfik's home and began hitting and kicking the front door in March.

Siryani said, "F--- your mum, f--- your family, I'm coming in," before Elriche chipped in, "Don't think this door is going to stop us from coming in ... open up and come out or we break the door."

Tawfik came to the door and asked why the trio were there, to which Siryani or Elriche replied that he owed them $25,000 "for the stuff that you lost".

Tawfik replied, "I'm doing my time. I didn't dob you in. I didn't bring your name into it, just leave us alone," the facts state.

It is unclear what the money was linked to as parts of the court documents are blacked out.

Elriche was arrested at the scene and later told police that he went to the home just to talk to the victim, whom he didn't know.

"The accused was told by the [co-accused] that the victim owed him money," the facts state.

"The accused was not aware what the money was for."

Elriche was in the spotlight last month at Fairfield Local Court where he was supporting the brother of murder accused, Aymen Terkmani​.

Terkmani is accused of murdering and sexually assaulting teenager Mahmoud Hrouk in Fairfield in May.

A trio of Terkmani supporters turned out to the court, where Terkmani was due to appear, and clashed with the media outside.

One reporter had his microphone grabbed and thrown at a car.

Elriche will be eligible to be released on parole in May 2016.
