Emergency services were called to the club in Meroo Road around 10.15am after a fryer in the front of house kitchen caught fire.
Staff attempted to extinguish the blaze, using chemical fire extinguishers and stopped it spreading to other nearby cookers.
Fire and Rescue NSW crews from Nowra and Shoalhaven attended and eventually extinguished the blaze.
NSW Ambulance crews and NSW Police also attended the scene, with paramedics assessing three staff members.
Assistant manager Anthony Field said club staff and patrons were evacuated as a precaution.
“There were about 12 patrons and the same number of staff and we just followed our safety procedures and evacuated everyone as a precaution,” he said.
The club was given the all clear to reopen about half an hour later, although fire crews remained at the scene, waiting as the 200 degree oil in the cooker slowly cooled.
Mr Field expected meals to be served as normal from midday, with staff using another kitchen facility at the rear of the club.
