And if there’s one flood indicator with which everyone is familiar, it’s the Nowra Sailing Club.
On Wednesday morning, locals knew this was a major event as the Shoalhaven River swallowed the clubhouse on its southern bank.
It’s not the first time it’s happened and it won’t be the last.
