Wearing denim on their usual patch at Jaspers Brush is just one way cow artist Scott Parker from Turfco hopes the cows will help achieve awareness.
“Turfco always chooses something that has to do with the month and this year it is Jeans for Genes Day,” he said.
“I painted the cows as if they are wearing blue jeans, a white T-shirt and the black being their belts. I left the tail white.
“I’m just hoping it raises awareness because I know that the crowd of people who drive past are usually entertained by the cows.”
Workplaces that take part in Jeans for Genes day will be helping to raise funds for the Children’s Medical Research Institute.
Locals are encouraged to don their denim style and donate to www.jeansfor genes.org.au/get-involved/ donate to help fight childhood diseases and birth defects.
