A SEMI trailer carrying asbestos closed Sussex Inlet Road for nine hours on Saturday afternoon when it rolled over.

The accident happened at about 3.30pm as the truck came to rest across both lanes.
It was carrying building materials from a demolished house, including uncovered asbestos.
Emergency services were called, including police, NSW Fire and Rescue and the Rural Fire Service.
Traffic diversions were put in place and a specialist HAZMAT crew from Batemans Bay managed the asbestos issue.
Council and Environment Protection Authority personnel were also involved with the incident.
The debris was eventually cleared and the road was opened at 12.30am.
Police are investigating the cause of the roll over and the EPA is investigating the manner in which the truck was carrying asbestos.
The 41-year-old male driver was taken to St George Hospital with suspected fractures in his neck.
His condition was stable.
