Police are appealing for witnesses after a man was robbed in North Nowra on Tuesday night.

Just before 8pm, a 21-year-old man walked out of the public toilets near the underpass of the Nowra Bridge, at the intersection of Illaroo Road and the Princes Highway, was hit from behind.
He fell to the ground and two men approached him. One man threatened him with a knife and demanded his wallet.
The men stole cash before running across Illaroo Road towards the Princes Highway.
The injured man called a family member who took him to Shoalhaven Hospital for treatment to swelling on the side of his face.
One of the men was described as being of Caucasian appearance, aged in his late 20s, of solid build and wearing a grey hooded jumper, dark tracksuit pants with a white logo on the front and sneakers.
Police would like to speak to anyone who witnessed the incident or has information that may assist with their inquiries.
