A nine-year-old girl was walking along Walsh Crescent about 2pm on Monday, July 6, when a vehicle pulled up alongside her.
The male driver called out to the girl and attempted to entice her into his car, however she managed to run home and alert her parents.
Police were contacted and officers from Shoalhaven Local Area Command have been investigating the incident.
Investigators are appealing for public assistance in an attempt to identify and locate the man involved.
He’s described as being aged in his late 20s to early 30s, with a medium build, brown hair and eyes.
The man was wearing a white hooded-jumper, spoke with a croaky voice, and was driving a blue four-door sedan.
